POLICIES, TERMS & CONDITIONS
Patronus Laboratories has a policy of product improvement and reserves the right modify the specifications of any product at any time prior to any order placement and to accept or refuse any order. All information supplied by Patronus Laboratories is believed to be accurate, but Patronus Laboratories is not liable for errors or misinterpretations.
Delivery and shipment dates are estimates only, we are not liable directly or indirectly for delays of carriers or delays from labor difficulties, shortages, strikes or stoppages of any sort, fires, accidents failure or delay in obtaining materials or manufacturing facilities, acts of government affecting us directly or indirectly, bad weather, or any causes beyond our control or caused beyond our control or designated acts of God or force majeure by court of law, and the estimated delivery date shall be extended accordingly. We will not be liable for any damages or penalties whatsoever, whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, resulting from our failure to perform or delay in performing unless otherwise agreed in writing by an authorized officer.
TERMS AND SHIPPING
ORDERS WILL ONLY BE SHIPPED SUBSEQUENT TO RECEIPT OF FULL PAYMENT. PATRONUS LABORATORIES DOES NOT ACCEPT TERMS. Prices are F.O.B. San Luis Obispo, CA and are subject to change without notice. All shipments will automatically be insured to the value of the invoice, unless specifically stated to ship un-insured on the client provided Purchase Order.
CLAIMS AND RETURN OF MERCHANDISE
Patronus Laboratories will not be responsible for any dismantling, reassembly or reinstallation charges.
Orders will be accepted with a future ship date of up to 6 months from the date or order entry. Partial shipment may be made against the original order as long as all items are shipped within the 6 month period.

OUT OF WARRANTY, REQUEST FOR REPAIR
- Request an RMA – for repair.
- The product shall be shipped to our facility, transportation charges prepaid.
- The cost of repair and return shipping will be estimated and you will execute payment in that amount.
- The unit will be repaired, tested and returned to you.
Note: Patronus Laboratories reserves the right to change this policy without prior notice. Refer to the most recent copy of this policy only.
Other copies will be considered invalid.
Patronus Laboratories does not provide any restocking services.
All prices are subject to change without notice.
Patronus Laboratories takes no responsibilities for installation of any items it sells. Plans and specifications are interpreted as required, but Patronus Laboratories takes no responsibility that the information provided is suitable for the intended purpose.
TITLE AND SHIPPING CLAIMS
Delivery of equipment to a carrier from our shipping point constitutes delivery to the purchaser and title and all risk of loss or damage in transit shall pass to the Purchaser at that time. Any short-shipment claim will be verified and legitimate claims will be processed as follows: Credit will be processed against the original order for the number of items short-shipped. The purchaser must submit a P.O. for the short-shipped items. If a new P.O. is not received, credit for product billed against the original order will not be processed.
LIMITED WARRANTY POLICY
EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY SET FORTH IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, PATRONUS LABORATORIES MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. PATRONUS LABORATORIES EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS NOT STATED IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES THAT MAY BE IMPOSED BY LAW ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW A LIMITATION ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS OR THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR CONSUMER PRODUCTS. IN SUCH JURISDICTIONS OR COUNTRIES, SOME EXCLUSIONS OR LIMITATIONS OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
This Limited Warranty applies to hardware products sold by or leased from Patronus Laboratories, its worldwide subsidiaries, affiliates, authorized resellers, or country distributors (collectively referred to in this Limited Warranty as “Patronus Laboratories”) with this Limited Warranty. This Limited Warranty is applicable in the United States and may be enforced subject to the terms and conditions set forth in this Limited Warranty.
During the warranty period beginning on the invoice date, lasting 1 year; Patronus Laboratories will repair or replace product proved defective in material or workmanship. To request limited warranty service, you must contact Patronus Laboratories Customer Technical Support within the limited warranty period and the following information must be provided:
- Product model and serial number;
- Date of shipment;
- Invoice number; and
- Details of the defect or problem.
If limited warranty service is required, Patronus Laboratories will issue a Return Material Authorization Number. You must ship the product back to Patronus Laboratories in the original or equivalent packaging; transportation prepaid, and insure the shipment or accept the risk of loss or damage during shipment which will void the warranty. Patronus Laboratories will ship the repaired or replacement product to you via ground shipping freight prepaid if you use an address in the continental United States or Canada, where applicable. Shipments to other locations will be made freight collect. Patronus Laboratories is not responsible for any duties, taxes or additional charges relating to the shipment of the product to or from the client.
Patronus Laboratories warrants that the product and all the internal components of the product that you have purchased or leased from Patronus Laboratories are free from defects in materials or workmanship under normal use during the Limited Warranty Period. The Limited Warranty Period for your product starts on the invoice date or shipment acceptance date, whichever is later. Your dated shipping acceptance receipt, showing the date of acceptance of the product, is your proof of the start date of the Limited Warranty Period. In the event that the buyer cannot provide a verifiable shipping acceptance receipt, the invoice date will indicate the start of the warranty period. You are entitled to warranty service according to the terms and conditions of this document if a repair to your product is required within the Limited Warranty Period. This Limited Warranty extends only to the original purchaser or lessee of the product and is not transferable to anyone who obtains ownership of the product from the original purchaser or lessee.
Patronus Laboratories products are manufactured using new materials. Spare parts may be new or equivalent to new. Spare parts are warranted to be free from defects in material or workmanship for thirty (30) days or for the remainder of the Limited Warranty Period of the product in which they are installed, whichever is longer.
During the Limited Warranty Period, Patronus Laboratories will repair or replace the defective component parts or, at the sole discretion of Patronus Laboratories, the hardware product. All component parts or hardware products removed under this Limited Warranty become the property of Patronus Laboratories. The replacement part or product takes on either the Limited Warranty status of the removed part or product or the thirty (30) day limited warranty of the spare part. In the unlikely event that your Patronus Laboratories product has a recurring failure, Patronus Laboratories, at its sole discretion, may elect to provide you with a replacement unit that is at least equivalent to your Patronus Laboratories branded product in hardware performance. This is your exclusive remedy for defective products.
IN THE CASE OF DIGITAL PRODUCT, YOU SHOULD MAKE PERIODIC BACKUP COPIES OF THE DATA STORED AS A PRECAUTION AGAINST POSSIBLE FAILURES, ALTERATION, OR LOSS OF THE DATA. BEFORE RETURNING ANY UNIT FOR SERVICE, BE SURE TO BACK UP DATA AND REMOVE ANY CONFIDENTIAL, PROPRIETARY, OR PERSONAL INFORMATION. PATRONUS LABORATORIES IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE TO OR LOSS OF ANY PROGRAMS, DATA. PATRONUS LABORATORIES IS NOT RESP0NSIBLE FOR THE RESTORATION OR REINSTALLATION OR CONFIGURATION OF ANY PROGRAMS OR DATA OTHER THAN SOFTWARE INSTALLED BY PATRONUS LABORATORIES WHEN THE PRODUCT IS MANUFACTURED.
Patronus Laboratories does not warrant that the operation of this product will be uninterrupted or error-free. Patronus Laboratories is not responsible for damage that occurs as a result of your failure to follow the instructions that came with the product.
This Limited Warranty does not extend to any product from which the serial number has been removed or which has been damaged or rendered defective (a) as a result of accident, misuse, abuse, or other external causes; or, (b) by operation outside the usage parameters stated in the user documentation that shipped with the product; or, (c) by the use of parts not manufactured or sold by Patronus Laboratories; or, (d) by modification or service by anyone other than (i) Patronus Laboratories; or, (ii) a Patronus Laboratories authorized service provider. Patronus Laboratories would like to caution you that this hardware product is for use strictly with Patronus Laboratories software only. Any attempt to install any software or hardware of any kind whatsoever on this product shall immediately void this Limited Warranty. Further, if the security seal on any product has been broken, removed or tampered with, such act shall also void this Limited Warranty. These terms and conditions constitute the complete and exclusive warranty agreement between you and Patronus Laboratories regarding the product you have purchased or leased.
These terms and conditions supersede any prior agreements or representations-including representations made in Patronus Laboratories sales literature or advice given to you by Patronus Laboratories or an agent or employee of Patronus Laboratories -that may have been made in connection with your purchase or lease of the product. No change to the conditions of the Limited Warranty is valid unless it is made in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Patronus Laboratories.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
IF YOU’RE PATRONUS LABORATORIES PRODUCT FAILS TO WORK AS WARRANTED ABOVE, YOU’RE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY SHALL BE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT. PATRONUS LABORATORIES IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES CAUSED BY THE PRODUCT OR THE FAILURE OF THE PRODUCT TO PERFORM, INCLUDING ANY LOST PROFITS OR SAVINGS OR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. PATRONUS LABORATORIES IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM MADE BY A THIRD PARTY OR MADE BY YOU FOR A THIRD PARTY.
THIS LIMITATION OF LIABILITY APPLIES WHETHER DAMAGES ARE SOUGHT, OR A CLAIM MADE, UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY OR AS A TORY CLAIM (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE AND STRICT PRODUCT LIABILITY), A CONTRACT CLAIM, OR ANY OTHER CLAIM. THIS LIMITATION OF LIABILITY CANNOT BE WAIVED OR AMENDED BY ANY PERSON. THIS LIMITATION OF LIABILITY WILL BE EFFECTIVE EVEN IF YOU HAVE ADVISED PATRONUS LABORATORIES OR AN AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE OF PATRONUS LABORATORIES OF THE POSSIBILITY OF ANY SUCH DAMAGES. THIS LIMITATION OF LIABILITY WILL BE EFFECTIVE EVEN IF YOU HAVE ADVISED PATRONUS LABORATORIES OR AN AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE OF PATRONUS LABORATORIES OF THE POSSIBILITY OF ANY SUCH DAMAGES. THIS LIMITATION OF LIABILITY, HOWEVER, WILL NOT APPLY TO CLAIMS FOR PERSONAL INJURY.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS. YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT MAY VARY FROM JURISDICTION TO JURISDICTION. YOU ARE ADVISED TO CONSULT APPLICABLE LAWS FOR A FULL DETERMINATION OF YOUR RIGHTS.
SOFTWARE TECHNICAL SUPPORT
Software technical support is defined as assistance with questions and issues about the software that was either preinstalled by Patronus Laboratories on the product or that was included with the product at the time of your purchase or lease of the product. Technical support for software is available for ninety (90) days from date of product acceptance. Your dated acceptance receipt, showing the date of acceptance of the product is your proof of the Limited Warranty starting date. After the first ninety (90) days, technical support for software that was either preinstalled by Patronus Laboratories on the product or included with the product at the time of your purchase or lease of the product is available for a fee which will be charged at the discretion of Patronus Laboratories.
Unless you are provided with a specific warranty from Patronus Laboratories as part of your Product documentation, Patronus Laboratories expressly disclaims any warranty for the software, herein referred to as the Product. The Product and any related documentation is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including, without limitation, the implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The entire risk arising out of use or performance of the Product remains with you as the user. You are notified that the Product, when used with certain equipment or other software, may enable you to perform surveillance actions and data processing which are likely to be restricted by or contrary to applicable law, including without limitation data privacy and criminal law. The sole responsibility for verification of your use against compliance with applicable law lies with you as the user.
